2011-2012 Flushing Educator of the Year
We are proud to announce that Matt Forsleff has been selected as the 2011-2012 Educator of the Year and will be recognized at the Flushing Area Chamber of Commerce Awards Banquet on Thursday, January 19, 2012.
Matt is truly an exceptional teacher. Evidence of that fact is provided throughout the school year at elementary, middle school, and high school orchestra concerts. Mr. Forsleff’s ability to engage his students instructionally and share his love of music makes his program highly successful. Most importantly, Matt truly cares about his students and their individual progress. The Flushing Community Schools is very proud of its fine arts program and Mr. Forsleff’s orchestras are a big part of it.
