Earn Money Towards Your Student's Accounts
Scrips - Scrip Certificates/Cards can be used just like cash at many retailers. For example: Meijers, Kroger, Speedway, BP Gas, TJ Maxx, Kohls, Applebees and many more. The Band and Orchestra Boosters earns 2-18% on the face value of each certificate sold. For all orders placed, the profit is split 50/50 between the student's account and the general booster account. Students and parents are encouraged to take orders from family, neighbors and friends.

Newspaper Recycling - Care to help the environment and the Band & Orchestra program at the same time? Donations of clean and bundled newspapers are accepted 24 hours, 7 days a week. Drop off bins are located on Seymour Road, directly across the street from the school district bus garage (1/4 mile north of Main Street). The proceeds are used to fund the various activities of these talented student programs. Students assisting at newspaper recycling receive $1.00 in their student account for each volunteer session. Questions about the program, please contact Teresa Farmer. Recycling volunteer times are 6pm, Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays and run anywhere from 30 minutes to 2 hours depending on the number of newspapers needing transfer.
Hanging Flower Baskets - This popular sale starts in mid March to early April each year. Students and boosters take orders from a wide variety of flower pots. The hanging baskets are four-six cuttings in 10-inch pots. Selections range from shady to full-sun plants. Typically, they include Geraniums, New Guinea Impatiens, Fuschia, Begonias and Golden Globes. Flowers arrive in May (in time for Mother's Day) so they make great gifts or look great on your own front porch! Profits from this fundraiser are split between each student's account (based on individual's sales) 50% and the general account, 50%. Little Caesars Student Appreciation Days - Little Caesar's and the Band Boosters have been happy to form an alliance for this fundraising since 2001. Boosters and students 16 year or older (with a work permit) can work on volunteer shifts ranging from three to six hours. With a full compliment of volunteers, Little Caesar's donates 15% of all profits made from the day. Typically, volunteers are needed every third Wednesday of the month.
