Concert Bands
“Concert band meets 3rd hour at Flushing High School. The ensemble is comprised of students in all grade levels and the group performs a wide variety of music in preparation for concerts, festivals, and the Flushing Collage Concert series. Students in concert band are developing fundamental skills and rehearsal techniques.
Wind Ensemble meets 2nd hour at Flushing High School. Students in wind ensemble must audition for this class, as it is the top instrumental ensemble in Flushing’s music program. Students are expected to be highly proficient and confident on their respective instruments. The ensemble performs challenging music at concerts, festivals, as well as the Flushing Collage Concert series.
